A caregiver reading with children in a comfortable home daycare

Delete your Ashby login

  1. Download what you need and review waiting attendance or automatic payments with your school.

  2. Staff: in My account, open Delete my account. Parents: in Account, choose Delete account.

  3. Read the effects and choose Continue. Confirm your sign-in, then choose Delete account. Check request status before repeating an uncertain submission.

How your request works
A saved request may still be processing. A sole school owner keeps access while ownership is resolved; the request can continue after another active owner is in place or school closing is complete.
School records and payments
Your login and personal app preferences are separate from school records. Care records, messages, billing and required evidence follow their retention rules. This does not close a school or cancel tuition or automatic payments. Contact privacy@ashbycare.com for help with a saved request or an unavailable deletion screen; do not send child information.

Your records

The privacy notice you agreed to when you joined is at the bottom of Account. Opening it does not include your account, school or child information.

Ask your school for access, corrections or deletion of the family records it keeps. Signing out does not delete records. Opening privacy information does not submit a deletion request.

What this is

Today shows how your child’s day is going: whether they are here, what needs you, their day so far and what’s coming up.

Do this

  1. After you sign in as a parent, open Today from the menu.

  2. If you have more than one child, tap their name to switch. Ashby remembers your choice for this school during your browser session.

  3. Keeping your child home? Tap Keeping … home? on their card. With care hours, Add absence opens on today: choose why your child is staying home (Sick, Family, Vacation or Other), then Add absence. Without them, it opens a message to the school that you check and send. Changed your mind? Next to Staying home, choose Take back before your child is checked in. Taking back an absence doesn’t check whether the school still has room that day. If they gave the spot to another child, they’ll let you know.

  4. Open reports, photos, messages, or the calendar to see more. Open profile to view your child’s details.

How it works

Each section refreshes every minute while Today is open and when you return. A failed section offers Try again while other sections remain usable. Changing children clears the previous details immediately.

Hey Ashby uses Google’s AI. Ashby hides names and holds back health and incident details first. Put private details in the forms.

Needs your attention
shows only when something needs you: incident reports you haven’t read, a bill due within a week or past due, new announcements you haven’t opened, and unread conversations. Each row opens it; an incident row opens the newest report you haven’t read.
Attendance
today’s latest recorded check-in, checkout, or absence. It says “you” when you did the drop-off or pickup. No update means there is no record for today; it does not mean your child is absent. Dates use the school location’s timezone.
Absence reason
the reason you choose (Sick, Family, Vacation or Other) shows to the school on that day’s attendance. Only that choice is kept; send anything more as a message.
School calendar
published events and closures for the selected child’s location and rooms, based on active enrollment and permissions. Today shows what is still happening; otherwise Coming up shows the next events within seven days.
Your children
only children the program linked to you. Staff see the full roster; you see your family.
Where your child is
the big card at the top: Here now, Went home, Staying home, Not here yet, No check-in today or Closed today, with the time and who did the drop-off or pickup. Keeping … home?, Take back and Open profile sit at its foot.
Their day so far
check-in, pickup and the moments from today’s shared report, such as meals, naps and diaper changes, newest first, plus one card for today’s new photos. Open report opens today’s full report. Drafts and corrections stay private until the school shares them.
Photos and messages
today’s new photos show in the day as one card. A new message shows under Needs your attention with Read and reply and an Unread dot. Messages in the menu, or the Messages tab at the bottom on a phone, counts what is new across your family, including newsletters and announcements you haven’t opened yet.
On a phone
the tabs at the bottom open Today, Messages, Photos and Billing. More opens the menu with everything else, such as Calendar, Reports, Help and Account.
Keeping … home?
shows only on a day the school expects your child, before anyone checks them in. It goes away once your child is checked in, has gone home or is marked absent, when you already took the day off in care hours, and on closed days. Without care hours, weekends are not care days. Take back an absence you (or the other parent) added, and Keeping … home? shows again; the school sees the change right away.
Staying home
shows when your child is away today. If you told the daycare or school, Take back is next to it. If they marked your child away, Today says so, and only they can change it: send them a message.
